About Me

My interest in photography started as something simple. I was hosting a party in a few weeks and I wanted to take some photos to commemorate the occasion. I knew these photos couldn't be taken on my cell phone, no, they had to be special, just as the event itself was. I started thinking. . . an old disposable for some '90s vibes? A digital circa y2k? Did other options even exist?

A few Instagram feeds, photography blogs, and Facebook Marketplace DMs later and I had my hands on an absolute beast, the Minolta SR-T 101. As soon as it was in my hands I quickly got to work completely underexposing a perfectly good roll of Fuji Superia 400. The green tinted, washed out photographs I got back from the lab didn't discourage me though. Over the next few months I fell deeper and deeper down a rabbit hole that I now realize has no end (I am not complaining).

I've only recently begun to consider photography as a career path. The thought of making a living out of something I love so much seems more like a dream than a real possibility. That's why I made this page. It's a tool to connect me with anyone who might be willing to pay me in exchange for the right moment(s) captured in time, or anyone who has something interesting to immortalize.
